In these Olympic days, you would assume this is about a popular shoe company’s slogan. Just put your shoes on and run. It’s not though. In a Time Management course I learned that procrastination is one of the main reasons people are not doing what they should be doing. Honestly, I had to check Wikipedia because I could not imagine the meaning of this rather depressive word which to me sounded like some sort of medical disorder. It turned out to be just a trivial phenomenon we all occasionally contemplate. We are all putting off things we should be doing because we don’t want to, know how to or have the energy for it. We muddle on or mess around, we avoid and put aside, we find excuses or simply wait. Some people have turned it into a real Art, but in the end it is a pure waste of time. So just find the right thing to do and just do it.
